Happy 20th birthday to Sofitel Montreal!
Recently, eliteGen was invited to Montreal to attend the hotel’s birthday bash. Deemed La Nuit, it is the French hotel chain’s signature party concept, combines the best of the Parisian nightlife with local culture. From events across the globe, like the star-studded party during Paris Fashion Week, or in amazing locations such as the Marrakech Palais Imperial and Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, La Nuit is glamourous, elegant, and oh-so-French.
The Montreal event is the first time Canada hosts a La Nuit. With music by DJ David Audet, stylish lighting installations, experimental cocktails, an oyster bar and free-flowing champagne, it was a fitting celebration for the five-star hotel.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Sofitel Montreal has announced a limited-edition anniversary package inviting guests to experience the Montreal royal treatment. Guests will be staying at The Opera Suite, the hotel’s largest suite with the finest amenities, featuring expansive windows, goose feather bed & pillows, a work corner and private lounge with elegant sofas, armchairs and bookshelf. There is even a bottle of champagne for guests to enjoy in their room.
Dinner and breakfast is included so guests can make it a true “staycation”. The champagne dinner culinary experience at the Chef’s Table is an elevated 5-course menu concocted by Executive Chef Olivier Perret, Maître Cuisinier de France. A la carte breakfast is also offered by Le Renoir Restaurant, featuring fresh seasonal produce from the market. Inspired by French cuisine and infused with international flavours and local ingredients, it will tell a story of Montreal’s vibrant culture.
To make the stay extra memorable, there will also be a one-hour helicopter tour touring the city of Montreal, with the opportunity to end helicopter trip at another local Accor property, such as. Fairmont Mont Tremblant or Fairmont Le Château Montebello. Talk about travelling in style!
