On Saturday August 12th, Friday Harbour and CAFA (Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards) held their Runway Show, an esteemed highlight of the Fashion Collective series, now entering its third year. The Runway Show held a spotlight on Canadian designers including BALESSA, Bustle, SHAN, Steven LeJambe, Revelle, Kaela Kay, Tilley and The Source alongside a shoppable retail market curated by CAFA featuring apparel and accessories from brands like ai, Bedi, Rita Tesolin, Cake Eyewear, Cyntia Miglio Design and Easy Mondays.

 

Hosted by TV personality Nicole Servinis, the evening captured excellence in Canadian design, set on the gorgeous backdrop of Lake Simcoe. Part of the proceeds from the event’s ticket sales have been donated to Dress for Success Barrie and Orillia, a non-profit organization that supports women and non-binary individuals in underserved communities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Fashion Collective Series is entering into its second weekend – August 18th-20th at Friday Harbour Resort (Innisfil, ON) , with a Runway Show scheduled for Saturday August 19th at 7PM. Tickets are still available via Eventbrite for the general public.
