On the initiative of Violette, Guerlain Makeup Creative Director, Rouge G has been reinvented in 2024 in a new ultra-care version in 40 accompanying satin or velvet matte shades. Through an eco-design approach and an array of 9 jewel cases that can be customised as desired, the design of this iconic lipstick has also been modernised, showcasing Guerlain’s know-how and commitment.
This new Rouge G celebrates the beauty of lips more than ever. 89% skincare-based, its formula exclusively developed with natural-origin waxes includes a lily oleo extract. Created with lily flower paired with sweet almond oil, this exclusive complex has smoothing, hydrating and plumping properties. It protects and reinforces lips’ regeneration.
Available in a satin or velvet matte finish, this new-generation Rouge G formula boasts an ultra-light texture for a bare-lips sensation. Reflecting Guerlain’s expertise combined with Violette’s unique artistic vision in terms of colour, Rouge G is available in new shades exclusively created with exceptional raw materials. Meticulously chosen for their high colouring strength, the coloured pigments are ground one by one by the Guerlain laboratories to preserve their intensity until application. Heightened by the colour-enhancing power of Abyssinian oil, they push back the boundaries of vibrancy.

Intended to be refilled, kept and passed on, Rouge G underlines the customisation of its iconic case through designs crafted in a chic, timeless style. The weight of this jewel case has been reduced by 19% and its manufacturing process optimised, allowing a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to the previous generation of Rouge G cases. The new Rouge G cases are only compatible with the new-generation refills and vice versa.
