The collaboration with Marimekko, the design house from Finland known for its beautiful prints, perfectly matches the UNIQLO LifeWear concept of making everyday life richer and more comfortable. The UNIQLO x Marimekko 2024 New Year’s Collection which will be launched on January 4, has a typical Nordic story, incorporating an image of a New Year’s activity where families and friends gather and camp in idyllic winter scenery.
Representative works by two of Marimekko’s leading designers, Maija Isola and Pentti Rinta, the collection for women and girls features nine designs with four selected patterns. The designs are printed on mainstay UNIQLO items such as the Fleece Full-Zip Jacket and HEATTECH, creating a lineup of items that can be enjoyed both indoors and out. The many chic patterns are easily integrated into a wide range of stylings.
