Guerlain’s Rosa Verde, the latest addition to the Aqua Allegoria collection, offers more than just a captivating scent—it’s designed to lift your mood. Created by Delphine Jelk, a perfumer with a deep understanding of aromacology, the unisex fragrance evokes the refreshing sensation of diving into cool water, with crisp cucumber notes that instantly awaken the senses.

The green floral Rosa Verde features top notes of cucumber, bergamot and mint; middle notes of rose, violet and pear, with musk, Iris and Chypre notes as base.
Guerlain has long been known for crafting fragrances that stir emotion, and Rosa Verde continues this tradition. Each scent in the Aqua Allegoria collection tells its own emotional story—Mandarine Basilic channels the vitality of sun-drenched Southern Italy, Flora Bloom celebrates the pure joy of a flower-filled field, and Rosa Rossa offers a tranquil escape into a blooming rose garden. Rosa Verde, however, focuses on promoting a sense of well-being, with a fragrance that feels both invigorating and calming.

What makes Rosa Verde particularly special is Guerlain’s pioneering approach to measuring the emotional effects of its fragrance. For the first time, the brand has used a combination of neuroscience and psychometric tests to study how Rosa Verde affects the body. By using EEG technology, Guerlain measured changes in brain activity, observing both relaxation and arousal responses. Respiratory tests showed increased amplitude, an indicator of relaxation, confirming the fragrance’s mood-lifting impact.

The Aqua Allegoria collection is also a nod to sustainability, with bottles designed for both luxury and eco-consciousness. Crafted from recyclable materials and filled with alcohol derived from vegetables, these bottles can be refilled. Furthermore, each bottle can be personalized with a free engraving of up to 10 letters.
As Guerlain continues to explore the connection between fragrance and emotion, the brand is expanding its Aqua Allegoria collection with a more lifestyle-oriented approach. Beginning in April 2025, hand creams in Rosa Verde, Mandarine Basilic, and Rosa Rossa will offer another way to enjoy the emotional benefits of these scents.
