This winter, Lacoste travels to New York City and teams up with Angelo Baque’s label Awake NY for Lacoste x Awake NY capsule collection that reimagines Lacoste’s iconic pieces. An emblematic streetwear figure, Baque teamed up with Lacoste’s Artistic Director Louise Trotter to create a unisex 12-piece collection designed for the streets of Paris and New York City’s five boroughs.
Comprised mainly of deep greens, blues, reds and cream, the classic collection is inspired by the French sporting codes of Lacoste’s heritage, reinterpreted by Awake NY for the bustling streets of Manhattan and its surrounding neighborhoods. The classic T-shirts feature Lacoste’s signature piqué cotton, while the roomy fit of the crewneck sweatshirts and fleece bottoms are a nod to classic ‘90s sweatsuits.
