As street culture becomes mainstream for contemporary fashion, some luxury brands have added sneaker designs to their collections. Here are some of the “It sneakers” for men:

 

 

Balenciaga

Demna Gvasalia creates the X-Pander sneaker, the new It-sneakers for his Balenciaga spring-summer 2021 pre-collection. With normcore accents inspired by running shoes, these sneakers  are embellished with a surprising suspended heel to ensure optimal comfort and cushioning.

 

Louis Vuitton

Louis Vuitton launches its new sneaker, A View, as part of the Pre-Spring 2021 Men’s collection. Conceived in an exchange with professional skateboarder Lucien Clarke, The sneaker expands on the inherent bridge between the designer’s visual language and the functional genetics key to the pro skate wardrobe. Evoking the familiarity of its 1990s frontrunners, A View is constructed in technical textile and calf leather with reflective details, and features a framework of technical foam and polyurethane sole cushioning. A View comes in three colourways: black and orange, white and orange, and a blue version.

 

Christian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin Loubishark, $1,225

The Loubishark low sneaker comes with a serrated sole and stands out for its architectural design, drawing its inspiration from the world of running. It sits on a two-tone shark-tooth style neoprene sole, combining inset panels with serrated trimmings and is adorned at the back with metallic signature spikes.
