Dr. Martens x Stüssy Collaboration

by Iris

The much-anticipated wait is over, Dr. Martens and Stüssy are dropping their newest collaboration.

939 Stüssy Suede Ankle Boots, $220

Born in southern California, Stüssy started off as a little project in a small beachside surf shop as a refined take on casual wear focusing on youth movements. Deep-rooted as a surf and skateboarding brand, Stüssy broke out into the music industry and pushed the barriers into the rap and hip-hop scene. Today, they’re a brand for trendsetters from all over the world inspired by the movements of musicians, skaters, DJs and artists, alike.

As icons for independence, the brands have envisioned a reimagined take on the signature 6-eye boot with one of the original work boots from the 60s. Merging both aesthetics through two different boots, Stüssy uses the Dr. Martens 939 silhouette with a rugged commando BEN sole to give workwear a subcultural twist.

Heaven by Marc Jacobs

Dr. Martens and Heaven by Marc Jacobs have teamed up for their second drop of the year to share the other half of their 90’s inspired collection. As an encore to their styles earlier this year, the brands are taking the newly minted Audrick silhouette from Dr. Martens mixed with Heaven by Marc Jacob’s nostalgic vision of alternative subcultures.
