Summer Fun At Avalon Lavender Farm

by Iris

Avalon Lavender Farm, a first-generation lavender farm located in the heart of Mono (The Town of Mono is situated in south-central Ontario, at the south-east corner of County of Dufferin, just north of Caledon and northeast of Orangeville. ) will be officially opening this National Picnic Day (June 18)! As the newest destination to visit this Summer, Avalon Lavender Farm offers a range of on-site activities and attractions, fit for a day trip with your family, friends, dates and so much more.

This family-owned mystical lavender farm has over 30,0000 lush lavender bushes on-site for guests to tour and pick, and a beautiful winding river walk to capture all of your stunning summer photos. Immersing themselves with nature, Avalon is home to hundreds of thousands of honeybees, and livestock, including chickens, horses, and ponies, making this the ultimate family destination. A focal point of Avalon is the fully restored two-story 1891 Heritage Barn, which serves as Avalon’s farm shop where they offer their very-own produced lavender products grown at Avalon such as candles, hand soaps, teas and more!

Creating experiences and memories is what Avalon is all about. From a “cut-your-own” lavender experience to picnics in the field, and daily yoga in Avalon’s Celtic-style stone circle, there is something for everyone. You can find all of Avalon’s upcoming happenings for the Summer here.

Opening dates: Opening Thursday to Sunday from June 18, with 7 daily time slots to choose from.

Admission: $14 per person, kids 5 years and under are free.
