The ten-day 2024 Canadian International AutoShow will return to Toronto on February 16th. Entering its 51st year, it will showcase more electric vehicles (EVs) and feature a variety of experiences to allow car lovers to witness the excitement firsthand. With the increasing number of electric vehicles in Canada each year, the show will spotlight EVs more prominently. This includes an indoor electric vehicle test track, allowing car buyers to test drive electric cars on-site. Electric City, introduced at the 2023 show, also will return this year, providing all the information about vehicle electrification.
The Camp Jeep, which was a favorite among attendees at the 2023 show, will return this year, giving drivers the chance to test drive Jeeps on a 20,000-square-foot off-road track. In the meanwhile, the show will include some beloved attractions for car enthusiasts, such as the Cobble Beach Classics showcasing rare and nearly century-old classic cars, including the 1929 Bentley Speed Six Sport Tourer. There will also be Auto Exotica, where people can admire the world’s most exotic luxury cars and multi-million-dollar supercars, showcasing the allure of automotive technology and luxury.
There will be a number of family-friendly activities in the show. The highlight is a giant mural made of Lego bricks that participants can help build at the show. The toy company, Mattel, will display a life-size, pink 1957 Chevy Corvette, as seen in Barbie movies!
