IT Professional, Technology Background, Creating A Koyan Beauty Empire
Danny Poon was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in the 90s. He is an IT professional with a strong background in technology, having worked at four Fortune 500 companies: Apollo, AST, NCR, and AT&T.
He provided Apollo computers and systems to China’s Ministry of Aerospace, fully leveraging professional expertise and successfully applying them in the aerospace field in 1988.
In 1990, He introduced NCR and AT&T computer communication systems to projects at the China Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, and Bank of Communications, pioneering banking automation and accelerating the modernization and intelligence of China’s financial systems.
Between 1994 and 1999, he founded a beauty and haircare brand, led Yun Cai Hair Products to become the top-selling haircare brand in Shanghai, and founded the Rubis Spa brand.
In 2014, he opened Rubis Spa in Switzerland, acquired the Swiss high-end pure skincare brand ILLYSSIA and established an R&D department locally in the next year. In 2016, he established R SPA Rubis Spa in Toronto, Canada.
In 2019, R Spa organized the global beauty forum in Toronto inviting seven beauty professionals from Switzerland, France, China, Israel, Germany, Korea and Canada.
The Porsche global commemorative book celabrating 50 years of classic model 911 reported Rubis Spa and Danny accomplishments.
In 2024, Danny was invited by Forbes China to share the successful experience of Rubis Spa.
Ballet, Piano, Swimming, A Discerning Taste for Exceptional Living
Corinna Tsang was born and educated at the prestigious Maryknoll Convent School in Hong Kong, before graduating York University in Toronto at the age of 20.
She has 14 years of ballet dance training experience and has achieved Grade 10 in piano. At the age of 10, she participated in the Hong Kong cross-harbor swim.
In 2024, she was invited to serve as a judge for the “Outstanding Chinese Women Award” in Toronto, Canada. She possesses a keen understanding of art and an extraordinary taste and pursuit of beauty, health, and elegance.
Danny, Corinna and Isa Lee, the Councillor of Ward 8 in Markham, Toronto, were at the 2019 R SPA Rubis Spa Global Beauty Forum.
Corinna began rigorous swim training from a young age, developing a strong will and determination.
In 2016, driven by a shared desire for beauty and lifestyle, Danny and Corinna, who met at York University, co-founded R SPA in Toronto, Canada. They introduced a innovative beauty realm and an extra-ordinary lifestyle to ladies in Canada.
