A Nod to the 1920s: Fendi Women’s Spring/Summer 2025 Collection

by Iris

1925 marks the founding of FENDI, alongside the influential Art Deco exhibition in Paris and the publication of literary classics like Mrs. Dalloway and The Great Gatsby. The Fendi Women’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection draws inspiration from this rich history, blending various epochs and techniques. In celebration of its centenary, FENDI’s collection merges ready-to-wear and couture, highlighting both hand-crafted and machine-made pieces. It honors women of action, capturing movement and ease for contemporary living.

“The foundations of how women dress today—and how we think—were shaped in the 1920s. It’s all about modernity in style and attitude,” says Kim Jones, Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear.

The clothing features a relaxed elegance, with detailed handmade embroideries on classic forms like tees and silk slips. Luxurious materials, including soft suedes, create enveloping shapes, while boots designed with Red Wing combine FENDI’s craftsmanship with an iconic silhouette.

The bags reflect the collection’s effortless sophistication, with the Mamma Baguette reimagined as a tribute to founder Adele Fendi. Delfina Delettrez Fendi’s FENDI Filo jewelry connects the brand’s rich heritage to its future.
