A magical blend of mystery, music, and daring, State of Mind – The Illusion of Choice premiering April 6th and running until April 30th in Canada’s famed castle, Casa Loma. State of Mind features two separate and unique performances, taking guests on a cerebral experience into an exciting celebration of human consciousness. The entire audience becomes part of the cast, inevitably leading to remarkable surprises and conclusions. From the moment patrons arrive, State of Mind dismantles all sense of reason, replacing it with infinite possibilities as they travel through Casa Loma’s historic tunnels to arrive in the Stables and its performance stages, for an exciting evening of psychological wonders.
In the intimate theatre space on the upper level of the Stables, world-renowned magician, Jeff Kaylor will create an unforgettable audience experience. In Toronto direct from LA’s famed Magic Castle — the international home of illusion — Mr. Kaylor will perform a barrage of mind-bending, up close and personal tricks ranging from miraculous to captivating. His unique, fast-paced illusions are known to amaze and inspire, blowing audiences away and leaving them both intrigued and amused.

On the main floor’s Carriage House Stage, Miraculum – Sleight of Mind, created by famed Canadian magician and mentalist, Lawrence Larouche of Majinx, is a doorway into a world of tantalizing mysteries. As guests partake in the vast array of strange and bizarre ‘experiments’ they will become mesmerized like children playing in the magician’s backyard, reading each other’s minds, predicting the future, and quite possibly communicating with spirits. The performance will awaken something within everyone that has been inadvertently left behind on the way to adulthood… a sense of astonishment, wonder, and magic.
