Bremont x Felix the Cat: Watch Your 6

by Iris

Renowned British watchmaker Bremont partners with Universal Products & Experiences on a limited-edition collaboration that merges authentic aviation watchmaking with the timeless charm of Felix the Cat—a meeting of heritage, adventure and playful spirit. Limited to 500 pieces worldwide, the Bremont Altitude MB Meteor “Felix the Cat” is more than a collector’s watch. In fighter pilot terminology, “your six” refers to the vulnerable rear position on a clock-face compass. Here, “Watch Your 6” nods to aviation culture while cleverly echoing the dial design, where Felix mischievously runs off with the number six—an enduring reminder to stay sharp and always watch your six.

Rooted in Bremont’s philosophy of “joyful watchmaking” and its deep commitment to military aviation, this limited-edition release pays tribute to Felix’s remarkable legacy in the skies. Long associated with U.S. Navy aviation squadrons—most notably VFA-31, the “Tomcatters”—Felix has symbolised courage, humour and fearless adventure since the earliest days of flight. The campaign title, Watch Your 6, references classic fighter pilot clock-position terminology, reinforcing the character’s place in aviation lore while celebrating Bremont’s own cockpit-ready heritage.

The collaboration takes shape through the Bremont Altitude MB Meteor, the latest evolution of Bremont’s celebrated MB series—timepieces engineered to withstand the punishing testing procedures of Martin-Baker ejection seats. Refined and streamlined for 2025, the Altitude MB Meteor retains the DNA that has defined the MB line for over 16 years while introducing modern upgrades in performance and design.

Bremont X Felix the Cat Watch, on bracelet | $9,100; on leather bracelet | $8,550

Crafted in Grade 2 titanium with a stealth-black DLC finish, the 42mm Trip-Tick® case makes a bold, tactical statement. A PVD titanium knurled barrel and matching crowns enhance its rugged presence. On the dial, Felix the Cat playfully runs off with the number 6—a witty nod to the campaign theme—while applied numerals and indexes glow with white Super-LumiNova® (blue emission) for optimal legibility.

Signature MB details remain front and centre: the bi-directional rotating inner bezel operated by Bremont’s roto-click mechanism at 4 o’clock, and the unmistakable looped ‘ejection’ pull handle counterweight on the seconds hand, rendered in vivid yellow and black. Bright yellow accents along the minute track provide striking contrast against the stealth-black palette—an homage to flight safety cues and the original MBI’s vibrant spirit.

Powering the timepiece is Bremont’s BB14-AH automatic movement, based on a Le Joux Perret calibre, delivering 24 jewels and an impressive 68-hour power reserve. Suspended within a flexible rubber mount for enhanced shock absorption and protected by soft-iron anti-magnetic shielding, the movement reflects the brand’s uncompromising focus on durability and precision.

An open case-back reveals Felix-inspired decoration alongside a gunmetal grey movement finished with Geneva Stripes. The watch is offered on a matte black DLC titanium bracelet with quick-release functionality or a textured black leather strap with box-stitch detailing—each reinforcing the lightweight, performance-driven ethos of the Altitude collection.
