Chopard Celebrates 30 Years of Fleurier Excellence at Watches and Wonders

by Iris

As Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 opens its doors in Geneva, Chopard marks a defining milestone in its horological journey—the 30th anniversary of its Fleurier Manufacture, the birthplace of its in-house watchmaking excellence. Established in 1996, this manufacture laid the foundation for the Maison’s modern identity, anchoring its commitment to precision, innovation, and the highest standards of Haute Horlogerie. To commemorate this anniversary, Chopard unveils a series of new creations within its prestigious L.U.C collection—timepieces that seamlessly unite traditional craftsmanship with technical ingenuity.

L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 – Straw Marquetry Edition

L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25 – Straw Marquetry Edition, $102,500

Chopard unveils a new edition of the L.U.C Quattro Spirit 25, showcasing its mastery of Métiers d’Art and technical innovation. Limited to eight pieces in 18K ethical yellow gold, the watch features a natural straw marquetry dial crafted from hand-split French rye straw, forming a detailed honeycomb motif that honours Louis-Ulysse Chopard and the symbolic bee. A jumping-hour display at 6 o’clock preserves dial purity, while the 40 mm case draws inspiration from historic pocket watches with a refined contemporary silhouette.

At its heart is the L.U.C 98.06-L calibre with jumping-hour complication, powered by Chopard’s Quattro technology with four stacked barrels delivering an exceptional 192-hour power reserve. The ultra-thin 4.85 mm movement ensures stable performance and chronometric precision, enhanced by a Phillips terminal curve balance spring and swan-neck regulator. Visible through the sapphire case-back, the movement is finished to Poinçon de Genève standards, confirming the highest level of craftsmanship.

L.U.C Strike One Titanium

L.U.C Strike One Titanium, $84,200

Chopard unveils the L.U.C Strike One Titanium, a feather-light 40 mm timepiece featuring a chime-in-passing. Housed in a single-block Grade 5 titanium case with satin-brushed finishing and polished accents, it combines exceptional lightness with technical complexity, while maintaining a slim 9.86 mm profile. A discreet crown-integrated pusher allows activation or silencing of the chime. The 18K ethical gold dial showcases a hand-guilloché honeycomb motif inspired by Louis Ulysse Chopard, with a salmon tone, rhodium-plated markers, and a chiming status indicator at 12 o’clock.

At its core is the L.U.C 96.32-L calibre, COSC-certified and bearing the Poinçon de Genève. It features a gold micro-rotor, twin barrels, and delivers a 65-hour power reserve even during chiming operation. The chime-in-passing emits a pure note each time the minute hand reaches 12, powered by Chopard’s patented monobloc sapphire gong system, ensuring acoustic purity regardless of the titanium case.

L.U.C 1860 Chronometer

L.U.C 1860 Chronometer, $37,500

Chopard marks the 30th anniversary of its Fleurier Manufacture with a refined reinterpretation of the iconic L.U.C 1860. Preserving the original’s 36.5 mm proportions, the new model is crafted in Lucent Steel™ and distinguished by an “Areuse Blue” dial inspired by the nearby river, featuring a hand-guilloché sunburst pattern created on a vintage lathe. Clean and balanced, the design is enhanced by white gold markers, Dauphine hands and a small seconds display at 6 o’clock, with no date to maintain its purity. Paired with a grey calfskin strap, the watch is powered by the ultra-thin L.U.C Calibre 96.40-L, equipped with a gold micro-rotor and twin barrels for a 65-hour power reserve. Chronometer-certified and finished to Poinçon de Genève standards—an exceptional achievement for a steel timepiece—it reflects three decades of Chopard’s technical innovation and artisanal excellence.

L.U.C Time Traveler One

L.U.C Time Traveler One, Price upon request

Chopard expands its L.U.C collection with the L.U.C Time Traveler One, launched to mark the 30th anniversary of the Fleurier Manufacture and reinterpreting the Maison’s acclaimed 2016 worldtimer. Limited to 250 pieces, it is crafted in ultra-light ceramised titanium and features a highly legible khaki-toned dial inspired by exploration, accented with beige details, luminous elements, and a lacquered yellow seconds hand. Two crowns enable intuitive adjustment of local time and world cities, with 24-time-zone display presented via concentric discs for instant global readability.

The 42 mm case combines featherlight comfort with exceptional durability, as ceramised titanium fuses titanium’s lightness with ceramic-like hardness and scratch resistance, achieved through high-temperature electroplasma oxidation. Inside, the L.U.C 01.05-L in-house movement delivers a 60-hour power reserve, COSC chronometer-certified precision, and refined hand-finishing visible through the sapphire case-back. A khaki rubber strap completes the design, reinforcing its contemporary, travel-ready character.

L.U.C XPS Prussian Blue

L.U.C XPS Prussian Blue, $17,200

Among the timepieces celebrating the 30th anniversary of Chopard Manufacture in Fleurier, the L.U.C collection introduces a new ultra-thin L.U.C XPS model, pairing understated elegance with certified chronometric precision. Crafted in Lucent Steel™ and fitted with a brown calfskin strap, its 40 mm case achieves a remarkably slim 7.2 mm profile, allowing space for a wide, refined dial. The sector-style dial draws inspiration from 1930s Art Deco and Bauhaus design, using concentric rings and radial indexes to create a precise, highly legible geometry, finished with a sunburst satin texture in deep “Prussian Blue”—a historically inspired hue linked to the heritage of Neuchâtel, where Chopard established its Fleurier Manufacture.

Powering the watch is the ultra-thin L.U.C 96.12-L calibre, an evolution of Chopard’s first in-house movement from 1996. Measuring just 3.30 mm thick, it features a 22K gold micro-rotor, Twin technology with dual stacked barrels, and a 65-hour power reserve. COSC chronometer-certified, it also includes a stop-seconds function for precise setting, while the small seconds at 6 o’clock reflects both functional accuracy and design integrity within the XPS line.
