FENDI Explores the Art of Human Connection for Fall/Winter 2026

by Iris

FENDI unveils the campaign for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s debut Fall/Winter 2026–2027 collection, presenting an intimate visual narrative that explores the delicate balance between connection and distance. Photographed by acclaimed artist Jo Ann Callis, the campaign reflects the universal desire to connect with others while acknowledging the emotional boundaries that make every relationship uniquely complex.

At the heart of the campaign is Chiuri’s vision of a shared wardrobe, where womenswear and menswear echo one another through refined tailoring, fluid silhouettes, and subtle contrasts. Rather than blurring distinctions, the dialogue between masculine and feminine elements celebrates their coexistence, revealing how borrowed proportions and mirrored styling can heighten individual expression.

Each image unfolds like a scene from an unfinished film, with gesture, posture, and the space between the subjects conveying emotions that words cannot. Inspired by the choreography of Pina Bausch, the campaign embraces quiet tension, using physical proximity and restrained movement to express the complexity of human relationships.

Rome provides the perfect backdrop for this cinematic story. Its historic architecture, elegant interiors, and timeless ruins become more than a setting—they reinforce the campaign’s themes of memory, intimacy, and enduring beauty. Soft light filtering through drapery, richly textured fabrics, and carefully composed interiors create an atmosphere that feels suspended between reality and dream.

Blending fashion, art, and storytelling, FENDI’s Fall/Winter 2026–2027 campaign marks a compelling new chapter under Maria Grazia Chiuri. Through evocative imagery and a thoughtful exploration of identity and connection, the collection invites viewers into a world where clothing becomes a language of emotion, individuality, and shared humanity.
