As we slither into the Year of the Snake, there’s no better time to embrace the festivities with meaningful traditions and modern touches. Bayview Village, in partnership with the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, is hosting a vibrant celebration for the Year of the Snake.
A stunning pink snake sculpture near Berani Jewellery Design offers the perfect photo opportunity, with social media participants entered to win an $888 gift card. Traditional calligraphers will also create red scrolls with well-wishes, and select shops will offer Lunar New Year promotions, gifts with purchase, and themed displays.
- 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. – Enjoy captivating performances by Goh Ballet, located under the chandelier at Centre Court. Those who stay to watch the performance will receive a special offer from Goh Ballet (while supplies last).
- 1:00 p.m. – Experience a mesmerizing Lion Dance performance, in partnership with Berani Jewellery Design. This exciting dance will parade from Restaurant Lane across the Centre, with its grand finale taking place in front of Berani Jewellery Design.
- 12 p.m – 4 p.m. – Visit our traditional Chinese calligraphers as they write scrolls with well-wishes on red paper for guests to bring home. Located just east of Centre Court, outside Jean-Paul Fortin (one per person, while supplies last).
As Lunar New Year approaches, Cadillac Fairview (CF) is excited to usher in this auspicious occasion with captivating decor, live performances, and exclusive promotions.
