Looking for a memorable and unique vacation? You get just that with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts as they introduce a new collection of experiences available exclusively at their iconic properties across North America.
Beyond Limits is a series of journeys designed to defy convention, shatter the boundaries of expectation and elevate the luxury experience. Each of these experiences is unique to the particular Fairmont Group property.
Century City LOS ANGELES – Gravity-defying Dance
Fairmont Century Plaza (Los Angeles).

Located in the core of Century City, the hotel’s iconic crescent-shaped, 19-storey exterior wall has been transformed into a vertical stage for an astonishing performance by the famous Bandaloop aerial dance troupe, which gracefully defies gravity.
Waimea HAWAII – Underwater Ballet
Fairmont Orchid (Waimea, Hawaii).

Commissioned by the Fairmont Orchid, four-time world champion synchronized swimmer Kristina Makushenko has created a solo performance in the middle of the Pacific. Only seven spectators a day get to witness the oneof-a-kind show. Those lucky few are invited to hop into a traditional Polynesian canoe and paddle out to a special platform. There, wearing their snorkel masks, they hold on to a floating “stage” waiting for a real-life mermaid to appear. Custom underwater speakers pump out music as Makushenko gracefully performs.
Riviera Maya MEXICO – Symphony in a Cenote
Fairmont Mayakoba (Riviera Maya, Mexico)

Guests follow candlelit passageways into a subterranean cavern for a one-of-kind musical journey. Here, a string ensemble wows the crowd with renditions of hits by Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Daft Punk, Frankie Valli, Queen and many more. This space features exquisite drinks and glamorous decor.
Banff ALBERTA – Haute O2
Fairmont Banff Springs (Alberta)

Fairmont Banff Springs has transformed a Canadian Rockies mountain-top bistro into an awe-inspiring oxygen bar and dining experience at 7,000 feet. From the O2 itself, to a guided breath work session, enjoy oxygen-rich cocktails and personalized dining.
Lake Louise ALBERTA – Fire and Ice Dining
Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (Alberta)

This enchanted winter wonderland is the stage for Fire & Ice, a 15-course epicurean experience that marries al fresco dining, soft adventure by snowshoe and cozy fireside moments with the inspirational cooking style of Robatayaki—all elegantly presented and paired with exclusive sake, whisky and Japanese-inspired cocktails. Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel
The Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel recently reopened after a $2.5 billion renovation that began in 2016. This towering building has 400 rooms and 85 suites.

It’s located on the original site of 20th Century Fox Studios, which sold the 180-acre site in 1961. It gained notoriety for being the first hotel to have a colour TV in every room when it opened in 1966. It became the go-to venue for the Emmy and Grammy awards, and it staged the first American state banquet held outside the White House. Notable celebrity guests have included The Beatles and Sonny and Cher—the latter duo performing at the hotel during the 1970s, and the current elevator pays tribute to their names. In early 2022, the Oscar nomination announcement luncheon, the Critics Choice awards ceremony and the Producers Guild Awards honoring George Lucas were also held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel.

The hotel is very close to popular tourist attractions, such as Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the LA city centre. Within a 10-minute walk, you will find the Westfield Century City outdoor shopping centre full of stores, including Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and Macy’s.
