Join Canada’s first MasterChef At Skyflower

by Iris

During the Toronto lockdown, Canada’s first MasterChef winner, Chef Eric Chong, focused on designing a new menu for Skyflower that demonstrates his love of classic comfort foods and his creative approach to gourmet cuisine. Now, Skyflower Toronto is back with new gourmet comfort food favourites, original cocktails and epic views.

Tucked away atop the historic Garden Theatre at 292 College Street, the return of Skyflower is an exciting addition to the city’s busy summer patio scene. Guests can book a table for dinner or late-night drinks via OpenTable. Skyflower will also launch a weekend brunch menu in the coming weeks.

“I wanted the new menu to serve as a creative outlet where I can celebrate my favourite foods while elevating them with unexpected ingredients and bold flavours,” says Chef Eric Chong. “Skyflower’s prime location offers the best views of the city and I wanted to ensure the dining experience was of the same calibre.”

Menu highlights include an impressive 36 oz. Tomahawk Steak and Foie Gras “PB&J”, a perfect combination of foie gras ganache, hazelnut thyme butter, fig jam and brioche. Fans of the restaurant’s popular delivery menu will be happy to see that Chef Chong’s mouthwatering Meltdown Burger has been upgraded with black truffle fonduta, bacon jam, crispy frites and truffle aioli. Hand-crafted cocktails including their signature drinks, The Skyflower and Tropic Like It’s Hot, offer guests refreshing beverage options to enjoy as the summer season continues.
